We are on our way to Ephraim! We flew from Nashville to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Hong Kong and finally Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City. The flight on Cathay Pacific on the last two legs really put the American Airlines domestic leg to shame. American sold earphones if you wanted to watch the movie and had food for purchase. The seats were even closer together. Cathay Pacific was wonderful! Each person had his or her own movie screen, and we were able to choose from probably 100 or more movies, pausing when necessary. Food and drinks were great and all complimentary. We were even given a little travel bag with earphones, a blanket, a pillow, a pair of socks, mints, and a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste. The flight was LONG! The longest leg from LA to Hong Kong was 14 hours. Added to all that flight time was a 5 1/2 hour layover in LA in the middle of the night. Not fun! Our travel agent was a miracle worker though. On every leg we had an aisle and middle seat, and somehow the seat next to us was always empty. Here's a picture of the descent into Hong Kong.
