Ihaven'tbloggedforquiteawhile, but it hasn't been because we haven't been busy. Go to: ourpathtoethiopia.blogspot.com and see what we've been up to this past year! We just got back from Ethiopia today, so if you will check back in a few days, I hope to have news of our travels posted.
A friend of Brad's took this picture when they spent a few days at our lake cabin last fall. Isn't this a beautiful picture? I have to admit the dock isn't really as pretty as it looks. It's definitely what you'd call "rustic".
We have had a massive influx of ladybugs who have come into our house to promptly die. Ephraim LOVES ladybugs. I found him laying on the floor pushing around some of the pile of dead ones saying, "Wake up, little ladybugs. Ladybugs! No sleeping!"
I'm a work-at-home mom of thirteen children ranging in age from twenty-six years old to five months old. Eight are home grown and five were adopted internationally (Russia, Guatemala, Vietnam and Ethiopia). We live on an 85-acre farm, and we have home schooled since 1986. My husband is a family physician in solo practice. I manage his practice and file the insurance claims.
